Dunkirk (2017)

Astounding in every sense of the word. Aided by my low expectations and knowing almost nothing about the movie, I was taken aback by a beautiful and poignant war epic. Great cinematic shots, great soundtrack, great acting. Dare I say this is the movie of 2017!

Get Out (2017)

I gotta admit, I'm not much of a horror movie fan at all, but there was something super captivating about this movie that I really enjoyed. I didn't find it too scary, but the acting was solid, the plot was gripping, and that's good enough for me.

Ozark (2017)

I like Jason Bateman as an actor, but turns out he might be one of the few things that I actually liked about this series. There was nothing particularly memorable about Ozark. The plot wasn't interesting, and I thought the writing was on the weaker side. I don't know if I'd watch a second season of this.
